She was predeceased by: her husband William Thompson; her parents, Fitzhugh Hale and Lillian Hale; and her brother Harris Scott. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Thompson (Jan) and John Thompson (Kathy); her grandchildren, David Thompson (Patty), Douglas Thompson (Katy), John B. Thompson (Erin), Brittany Woodard (John) and Jendi Fernatt (Josh); her great grandchildren, Katelyn Thompson, Jet Woodard and Jaelyn Fernatt; her siblings, Louise Thompson, Jean Meador and Eddie Hale (Joyce); her siblings-in-law, Clyde Thompson (Marie) and Annie Lee Branch (David); and her significant other Harriet Daughtery. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
