He was predeceased by: his parent Jack Lawrence Mills; and his brother Lawrence Gordon "Brother" Mills. He is survived by: his parent Hilda Allene Garrett; his sons, Eric Mills (Amy) of Roanoke, Josh Mills of Roanoke and Trey Mills of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Tyler Mills of Roanoke, Autumn Mills of Roanoke and Jack Mills of Roanoke; his sister Carolyn Wright (Vic) of Reidsville, NC; his nephew Danny Wright (Melissa) of Indianapolis, IN; and his nieces, Dana Wright of Lynchburg, Victoria Wright of Indianapolis, IN and Alyssa Wright of Indianapolis, IN.
