He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" and Mary Hubbard Durham; and his siblings, Nancy Darnell, Virginia Dillon and Hugh Durham.

He is survived by: his sons, Mike Durham (Connie) and Bob Durham (Debbie Denison); his grandson Charlie Durham; and his siblings, Theodore R. "Ted" Durham, Jr. (Kathy), Janie Fetter, Dorothy Cummings (Dennis) and Eunice Kirby (Tom).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Roanoke Area Ministries (RAM) 824 Campbell Avenue SW Roanoke, VA 24016.
