She is survived by: her parent Mayetta Merrill; her husband John Finnerty; her children, Lisa Finnerty Lester (Brian Lester) of Tampa, FL, Christina Finnerty Feather (Scott Feather) of Tampa, FL and John Finnerty of Roanoke, VA.; her grandchildren, Reeghan Lester, Maggie Feather and Samantha Feather; and her siblings, Steve Merrill (Karen) of Parkersburg, WV, Charles Merrill (Nancy) of Parkersburg, WV, Vikki Reus (Jack) of Quinton, VA and David Merrill.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation applied to triple-negative breast cancer research.
