With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Preston Merricks of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on June 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, William Eldridge and Opal Dean; and his wife Jennifer Kemp Merricks. He is survived by : his daughter Melissa; his grandchildren, Evan and Avery; and his siblings, Nancy Gerhardt (Reid), Sandra McCoy (Terry) and Steve Merricks (Penny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many great friends.
