She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Julian Sr. and Helen Gatch Platt; and her brother Jason Julian Platt, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Parker Doolan; her children, Cindy Loshkreff (Scott), Karen Ewing (Robby), Jason Doolan (Lisa) and Keith Doolan (Amy); her grandchildren, Kayla Dowdy (Justin), Jade Doolan, Kaitlyn Spangler, Kale Doolan, Julian Doolan, Rebekah Ewing, Sarah Ewing, Parker Doolan and Maudie Doolan; her great grandchild Keelan Dowdy; and her sister Betty Edwards (Ed).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Blue Ridge Cancer Care.
