He was predeceased by: his parent Elbert Harrison Lester. He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Lester, Bonnie Jarrells, Jean Altizer and Peggy Lester; his wife Florene Ellen Reed Lester; his brothers, Benny Lester (Annie) and Donald Lester (Marie); his grandson Joshua McCarty; and also, Tazewell Altizer, Troy Reed, Galen Reed and Arlene Dowdy (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
