She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Roberts and Hattie Roberts; her husband Arthur G. Carpenter; and her sister Ellen Louise Antos. She is survived by : her daughters, Barbara Ferro (Chuck) and Ellen Pregnall (John); her grandchildren, Brian Greenfield (Karen), Kimberly Pregnall and Michael Pregnall (Christy); her great grandchildren, Courtney, Catlin Greenfield, Ethan and Emma Pregnall; and her brother James P. Roberts (Ada).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Shriners Children's Hospital or to a humane society.
