He is survived by: his parent Wealthy Boinett Green; his significant other Erma Taylor Lipes of Covington; his children, Cathy Lipes of Covington, Billy Lipes, Angie of Roanoke, Allen Lipes, James Stanley of Gibsonville, NC, Donnie Lipes, Wife and Jen of Covington; his grandchild Tracie Fridley; his husband Mark Thacker of Covington; his great grandchildren, Darion Thacker Palmer of Atlanta, GA, Landon Thacker of Covington, Hunter Fridley of Covington and Abbie Fridley of Covington; his siblings, Barry Green of Roanoke, Jean Fergurson of Roanoke, Violet Moore, Merritt Moore of Norfolk, Ralph Price of Covington, Betty Price of Covington and Ralphie Taylor of Covington; and also, Michael Thacker of Covington, Megan Bobbitt of Covington, Travis Lipes, Amber Lipes of Roanoke and Chad Lipes of Lynchburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
