It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Vaught (Roanoke, Virginia), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on June 8, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Brown Vaught (Bus) and Audrey Bane Vaught. He is survived by: his wife Chris Vaught; his daughter Krystal Vaught (Mike); his stepdaughter Lisa Dalton; his granddaughter Melissa Dalton (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Maggie Mae, Annabel Dalton and Hank Dalton; his grandson James Dalton (Katie); his stepson David Kalpac; his siblings, Susan Turley, Cheryl Sheets (Stephen), Carol Slusher (Steve), Steve Vaught, Tom Riley (Phyllis), Aunts Ruth Wetzel and Martha Vaught; his friends, Todd Morgan, Shelly Morgan, Kimberly Lee and Tom Vaught; and also, Layla, Cinnamon and Beau Peep. He is also survived by several cousins who will never forget Jerry; he was Uncle Jerry to many nieces and nephews, along with numerous great nieces and great nephews who treasured him and laughed with him over the many years; as well as countless friends.
