It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Meek Gallagher (Roanoke, Virginia), born in Sugar Grove, Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband John A. Gallagher; her parents, William Herbert and Myrtle Choate Meek; her brother William; her sister-in-law Eleanor Meek; and her daughter Pamela Susan Gallagher.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Gilbert (David), Stephen Patrick Gallagher and Bill Gallagher (Alexia); her grandsons, Michael (Brae Gilbert), Jonathan (Charlotte Gilbert), Andrew Gallagher and Alex Gallagher; her great grandchildren, Max, Rudy Gilbert, Charis, Hannah, Bethany, Nathaniel and Sarah Gilbert; and her former husband John Snyder.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roanoke Rescue Mission.
