He was predeceased by: his father Laverne Jack Dempsey. He is survived by: his wife Melody Dempsey; his daughters, Leslie Buback (Andrew) and Shannon Dempsey (Jacob Taylor); his mother Helen Dempsey; his grandsons, Caleb Austin Taylor and Xavier Andrew Buback; and his siblings, Douglas Dempsey (Traci), Michael Dempsey, David Dempsey (Lauren), Deborah Bishop (Dwayne), Pamela Marie Dempsey and Patricia Anna Dempsey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
