Meador and Rosa Forbes Meador; his siblings, William Edward Meador Jr., Paul Donnie Meador, Jack Forbes Meador, John Robert Meador, Erma Jewell Meador Heck, Sarah Emogene Meador Campbell and Betty Ann Meador Larson; and his nieces and nephews, Joann Meador, Valerie Meador, Richard Campbell and Jay Heck.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, William Edward Meador III (Judy), John Campbell, Margaret Rose Meador DuBois (Win), Barbara Ann Campbell Goodall (Lury), Rodney Ayers Meador, Donna Sue Meador Fleshman (Steve), Rosemary Meador Lawson (Barry), Lisa Meador Welker, Nancy Larson Klinect (Dave), Diane Larson, Karin Larson, Jennifer Fleshman Kicinski, Mandi Gayle Fleshman and Brian Turner Fleshman; and also, Jocelynn L. Dixon (Joey) and Corbin J. McFall.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakey's North Chapel (6732 Peters Creek Rd, Hollins, VA 24019). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5737 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his memory be made to Meals-on-Wheels, 4932 Frontage Road NW, Roanoke, VA 24019 and to Good Samaritan Hospice, 4751 Cove Road NW, Roanoke, VA 24017, both organizations brought great comfort to his life during his final time on this earth.
