He was predeceased by: his son Dennis Hayslett. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Hayslett; his son Clifford Simmons; his grandchildren, Brent Hayslett and Ashley Vaughan; his great grandchildren, Sara, Hope and Noah; his siblings, Jeri Overstreet and Jack Hayslett; and his daughter-in-law Diane Hayslett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
