He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Matheny and Lillian Matheny. He is survived by: his wife Linda Carroll Matheny; his son Mark Matheny (Tanya); his grandchildren, Joshua Matheny and Meredith Matheny; his stepdaughters, Anna Carroll of Arkansas and Ronda Lambright (Brian) of Arkansas; his sister Glenda Simmons (Herbert); his niece Cindy Snopkowski (Rob); and also Beach.
