He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thomas; his brother Richard Thomas of Roanoke; his son Jay Thomas; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Jones of Roanoke; his daughter Laura Childress Morse; his son-in-law Patrick of St. Augustine, Fla.; his daughter Heather Thomas Epperson; his son-in-law Daniel of Monroe, NC; his grandchildren, Preston, Sarah, Madelyn, Nicholas and Jessica Morse; and his great grandchildren, Abigail and Emilia Morse.
