She was predeceased by: her parents, Kim El Kyum and Shin Sook Ja; her sister Kim Jai Sook; her son Sang Kim; and her brother Kim Jai Sok.
She is survived by: her husband John Smalley; her children, Lynda Cindy Goldfarb (Jeff) and Thurmon Eddy Lockhart (Olivia); her stepsons, Aaron Michael Smalley and David Alan Smalley; and her brother Shin Dong Il.
