He is survived by: his parents, Patricia Hartman Puryear and Kenneth Wayne Brizendine; his daughters, Jessi and Kristen Brizendine; his sister Diana Brizendine Tampasis; and his stepbrothers, Bobby (Wanda) and William Hartman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
