It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Jean Cochran (Roanoke, Virginia), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall R. High and Eula Mae Abernathy High; and her sister Sara High. She is survived by: her spouse W. Paul Cochran, Sr.; her children, Cindy Washam (Rodney), Bill Cochran (Sharon), Anne Brown, Susan Woody (Mike) and Robert Cochran (Cherise); her grandchildren, Che', Shane, Elizabeth, Michael, Matthew, Jordan, Ryan, Kristin, Ben, Christopher and Camden; and her siblings, Betty Gillespie (Royce), Carolyn Glover (Tommy) and Reggie High (Katie). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Oakland Baptist Church, 3623 Roundhill Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24012.
