She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Ernest Brown, Jr. and Nancy Swinderman Brown Jessee; her grandparents, G. Ernest Brown, Dorothy S. Brown, Carroll and Nell Swinderman; and her adoptive father Evans B. Jessee.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles A. Evans (Gretchen) and Peter J. Evans of Burbank, CA; her grandchildren, Samuel, Elijah, Abraham, Felicity, River and Jubilee; her siblings, Peter Jessee (Carol), Katie Humphreys (Tom) and Mary Walker (Billy); her uncle George; and her aunt Anne Lanman of Coronado, CA. She is also survived by seven nieces and one nephew, and numerous cousins and close friends.
