She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Loan and Gracie Loan; and her sister Linda Sue Steele. She is survived by: her husband James Lee LaPrade, Sr.; her children, Melinda LaPrade Morris and James Lee LaPrade, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jonathan Tyler LaPrade (Mandy), Joshua Avery LaPrade (Amanda), Christopher Blake Bowden, Chelsie Nicole LaPrade, Jaden Harrison and Brielle Hubbard; her great grandchildren, Alaina Marie LaPrade, Levi Colton LaPrade, Mason Alexander LaPrade and Kathryn Renee LaPrade; her sisters, Gracie Ross, Sydney Mae Lockridge, Patricia J. Willis and Betty Ratliff; and also Tiffanie Hubbard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other neighborhood children throughout the years who referred to her as Mom.
