He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his sister Jeanette Hazlebeck of Lewisburg, WV; his children, Reagan Rizzolo (Dave) of Stockbridge, Michigan, Michael Beckner (Nikki) of Roanoke and Bradley Beckner (Jennifer) of Troutville; his grandchildren, Joe Rizzolo, Dr. Kellie Purucker (Taylor), Olivia Beckner, Lauren, Braiden Beckner, Jack, Liam, Juliette and Vivienne Beckner; his parents-in-law, Lester and Thelma Cole; his brother-in-law Terry Cole (Carolyn); and his nephews, Marty and Michael Miller (Rick).
