She is survived by: her husband James Lester Hicks Jr.; her parents, Grady Leonard and Clora Leonard; her brothers, Herman Leonard of Charleston, S. C., Carl Leonard of Duncan, S. C. and Lloyd Leonard of Lyman, S. C; her son James David Hicks; her daughter-in-law Kathy of Blue Ridge; her granddaughters, Kelly Hamren of Roanoke and Karrie Faidley; her great grandchild Alexandra Faidley of Vinton; Jarl Hemren of Roanoke and Stephen Faidley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rescue Mission in Roanoke, Va.
