He was predeceased by: his parent C. J. Morrison. He is survived by: his mother Konda Teague Morrison of Buena Vista; his sons, Ian Michael Morrison of Winchester and Grant William Morrison of Arlington; and his siblings, Anthony Teague Morrison (Teresa) of Hardy, James Patrick Morison (Sharon) of Lexington and Crystal Morrison Hoeppner (Brian) of Roanoke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
