With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Imogene Williams Whalen Semones of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Brian and Myrtle Frye Williams; her husband Wade Whalen; her daughter Olyvia Arlene "Libby" Goetzinger; her siblings, Helen Williams, Mary Cline, Eileen Hale, Brian Williams, Olin Williams and Ronald Williams; and her son-in-law Cooper Jones.
She is survived by: her close friend Wilson Kaiser of Johnson City, TN; her children, Johanna (Larry Bromley), Barbara Alice Main (Paul St. Pierre), Frances Jones of Rural Retreat, Eric (Angie Whalen) and Winston Whalen (Tim Nichols) of Cleveland, OH; her son-in-law Herschel Goetzinger of Sugar Grove; her grandchildren, Dawn (Tim Catron), Beverly Epperly, Valerie (Gary Bilbro), Michael (Abbie White), Jonathon (Julie White), Robert Jones, Alex Whalen, Quinten (Kaitlynn Whalen), Stephanie Whalen and Charlie (Staci Goetzinger); and her great grandchildren, Andy Catron, Zoe Barber, Stasja Barber, Elizabeth White, Alex White, Austin White, Ryan Taylor and Amelia Havens.
