She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Palmer Pugh and Minnie Daugherty Pugh; her husbands, Charles E. Barnett, Sr., Lewis M. Saleeba and Jack M. Burnett; and her son Charles E. Barnett, Jr.

She is survived by: her children, Suzanne M. Barnett, Amanda B. Baker (Bill) and Timothy L. Barnett (Jaime). She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
