It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Benjamin King (Roanoke, Virginia), who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Hattie King McCoy; his sister Altamay Banks; and his grandparents, Walter, Anna Bell Saunders and Beatrice Williamson.

He is survived by: his son Raymond King, Jr.; his siblings, Genova Burrell, Harold Saunders, Anthony King, Kirk King (Carla) and Fred McCoy (Ericha); and his close friends, Patricia Campbell and Ron Bessette. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
