She is survived by: her former husband Bruce Hamilton Ballantyne; her husband William Franklin Rankin; her children, Shirley Ann Ballantyne of Roanoke, VA, Robert Bruce Ballantyne (Pam) of Youngsville, LA and David Hamilton Ballantyne (Michelle) of Kannapolis, NC; her sister Marcia Tuthill Butterfield (Allan) of Manchester, ME; her niece Nyasha Butterfield Grennan of Manchester, ME; and her caregiver Rhoda. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
