We bid farewell to Robert Ham Sr. of Roanoke, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 23, 2025 at the age of 97. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrin Ham and Hazel Hart Ham; his wife Marie Maxey Ham; and his siblings, Dale Ham, Ronald "Bud" Ham, Ruth Carner and Betty Ransome.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Ham Jr. (Sherrie), Jerry Ham and Jeffrey Ham (Joyce); his grandchildren, Amy Ham, Robert Ham III (Amber), Jessica Ham-Purser (Kevin), Jonathan Ham (Casey) and Jodie Ham-Castillo (Ryan); his stepgrandchildren, Leslie Ellis, Ellen Oakey and Dorothy Kelly (Paul); and his sister Shirley Troutt. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
