She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Doug King (Mary) of Roanoke and Sheri Mason (Robby) of Goodview; her grandchildren, Matt, Ryan, Savanah, Ally and Gabby; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Nathanael, Sarah, Annabelle, Elijah and Felicity; her siblings, Nancy King (Tommy) of Buchanan, Ruth Maxie of Vinton, David Patterson (Margaret) of Salem and Gene Austin of New Castle; and her friend Debbie Byrd of Martinsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association in Ms. Terry's memory.
