It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet E. Vest (Roanoke, Virginia), who passed away on July 12, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil H. and Birdie Dodd Moore; her husband Russell T. Vest; her daughter Doris Smith; her sons-in-law, Robert Smith and David Smith; her siblings, Oliver Moore and Ruth Lotts; and her great grandchild Adam Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Iva Vest Smith and Larry Vest (Dianne).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Camp Eagle C/O Shenandoah Baptist Church.
