He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Mangus and Mary Jane Fisher (Mangus). He is survived by: his son Robert Kiley Mangus (Emily) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Retzler and Robert; his son William Gordon of Mangus; his wife Ferrell of Swansboro, NC; his grandsons, William Gordon Mangus IV, Liam and Winston; his brothers, Cary and Gene (Betsy); and also Trey.

In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to Second Presbyterian Church or the Good Neighbors Fund.
