He was predeceased by: his parents, Mavis Lewter Spencer and William Edmond Spencer Sr.; his mother-in-law Ruth Warden; his siblings-in-law, Everette Ellers, John Warden Jr., Anna Davis and Billie Warden; his nephews, Clayton Ellers and John Ellers; his great-nephew Stephen Flowers; and his great-niece Jocelyn Donato.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Warden Spencer; his brother-in-law Avery Harwood; and his sibling's children, Debbie King (David), Karen Thomas (Bill), Ann Harwood (Gail), Suzanne Caldwell (Tim), Lynn Flowers, Kim Warden, Sue Snyder (Joe), Donna Donato (Jude) and David Warden (Missy). He is also survived by 23 grandnieces and grandnephews and 13 great-grandnieces and nephews.
