John Casey Wray Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Casey Wray in Rocky Mount, Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid John Casey farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John Casey is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his parents, James Wray and Mary Thelma Wray; and his siblings, Teresa Pagel, Noe Quintanilla and James H. Wray III (Amanda). He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 2 grand nephews; as well as many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church (4720 Jubal Early Hwy, Boones Mill, VA 24065). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
