He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Sands Woody, Sr. and Reese Whitlow Woody; and his sister Cynthia Woody Morgan. He is survived by: his sons, Clay Sands Woody (Nikki) and Scott Lawson Woody (Ruth); his grandchildren, Clay, Jr., Jared (Beatrice), Jack, Jordan (Kaliegh), Amanda (Kieran), Jayden, Jonathon (Elisha) and Joshua; his great grandchild Asher; and his sister Betty Woody Snavely (George). He is also survived by many other family members and special friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Fellowship Church (100 Wirtz Rd, Wirtz, VA 24184).
