She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Ellis and Iva Ellis; her husband David Lee Hall Sr.; and her siblings, Jimmy Ellis, Kyle Ellis, Sherry Jones and Peggy Cheek.

She is survived by : her children, David Lee Hall Jr. (Melanie) of East Bernstadt, KY and Mary Lee Hughes (Jamie) of Pennington Gap, VA.; her siblings, Rev. L. J. Ellis (Nell) of Rose Hill, VA and Opal Johnson of Rose Hill, VA.; her grandchildren, Amber, James (Brooklyn), Isabell (Caleb), Jesse (Celeste), Curtis (Lanie) and Margaret; and her great grandchildren, Sophie Jane, Lilly Jae, Arthur, Reuben James and Samuel David. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robinette Funeral Home (207 Deroyal Industries Rd, Rose Hill, VA 24281). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Cemetery Are Asked. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Vanhuss Grove Cemetery.
