We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2022, at the age of 85, James William Mullins Sr. of Ruckersville, Virginia, born in Wise, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Mullins and Mary Mullins; his son Joseph "Jobie" Mullins; and his siblings, Tommy Mullins, Roger Mullins, Bobby Mullins, Gearlene Haley and Emojene Charles.

He is survived by : his wife Sarah Ann Mullins; his children, James William Mullins, Jr. (Deanne), Sonja Garton (Ricky) and Phebe Dickerson (William); his sisters, Grace Enoch, Jodie Wright, Lorene Hill and Ina Mae Charles; his grandchildren, Amber Dunnivan, Mikey Tomlin, Julie Mullins, Robert Dickerson (Morgan Adldoost), Kyle Dickerson, Billy Dickerson, Taylor Schwartz, Drew Schwartz and Nick Knight; and his pets, Hopper, Zac and Tucker. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Madison-Greene Humane Society, 375 Jeri Allen Way, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
