He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Mae Harmon. He is survived by: his father William L. Simmons; his wife Sheila Simmons of Rural Retreat; his daughters, Grayson Simmons (Zachary Johnson) of Speedwell and Mattie Simmons of Speedwell; his grandson Holden Simmons; his stepmother Elizabeth Simmons of Wytheville; his siblings, Charles Simmons of Piney, Kathy (Ronnie Hudson), Patrick Simmons of Piney and Lynn Sheets of Wytheville; his nephew Cody Sheets; his nieces, Kimberly Sheets and Kelsey Simmons; his aunt Dorthy "Tootsie" Freeman of Austinville; his uncle Reed Fisher of Piney; and his close friends, B. G., Trina, Isaac Felts, James and Dawn Harmon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church (111 Old School Rd, Wytheville, VA 24382). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
