He was predeceased by : his parents, Ira Wade Roberts and Vernia Esther Christian Roberts; his former life partner Geraline Yvonne Cook Roberts; his wife Carol Elaine Horton Roberts; and his children, Sherri Yvonne Deckert and Oral David Roberts.
He is survived by : his sons, Raymond Keith Roberts (Lydia) of Bluefield, VA and Joseph Richard Roberts (Brooke Renee) of Shepherdsville, KY; his stepchildren, Lee Messick (Vicky), Kelly Messick (Amy), Heather Casey (Brian) and Elaine Brown (Tony); and his siblings, Johnny Roberts of Tazewell, VA and Lavina Rye of Tazewell, VA.. He is also survived by Twenty-one grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
