He was predeceased by : his parents, Lerow Hartsock and Katherine Bowling Hartsock; his siblings, Claude Hartsock, Edward Hartsock, Bill Hartsock, Ruth Ray, Betty Baldwin, Rosa Hackman and Leota Grace; and his parents-in-law, Verlin McKee, Wilma Jean Allison, Wetsel and Helen Richardson.

He is survived by : his wife Lisa Allison Hartsock; his sons, Daniel Hartsock (Emily), Adam Henderson (Bochasity) and Kevin Allison (Sharon); his grandchildren, Lilly Henderson, Dalton Allison and Rylee Sturgill; his sister-in-law Teresa Rexroad (Greg); his uncle David Neal; and his pets, Koda and Kasper.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
