She was predeceased by : her parents, James E. Franklin and Mildred P. Franklin; her husband Paul David "Cannonball" Keesee; and her siblings, Barbara "Tootsie" Ritchie, Thomas "Sonny" Keesee, Jean Blevins and Mildred Norris.

She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Evans (Michael) and Paula Hammond (Scott); her grandchildren, Tyler Parris (Kaitlyn), Brady Parris, Morgan, Megan Hammond, Mathew and David Evans; her great grandchildren, Eli Parris, Maisie Jo Camper and Oaklynn Parris; her siblings-in-law, Ned Norris and Carolyn Keesee; and her son-in-law Charlie Parris. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
