She is survived by: her husband John R. Bonnell of Saltville; her children, DeAnna Freeman of Chilhowie, Travis Bonnell of Saltville and Tyler Bonnell (Monte Strickland) of Olive Branch, MS; her siblings, Mildred Lawson of Roanoke, Becky Abbot of Suffolk, Rachel Hanshew (Tom) of Kennesaw, GA., Patsy Taylor (Bill) of Troutdale, Dreama Roop of Saltville, Sharon Cope (Don) of Saltville, Laura Ann Firestone of Saltville, Madaline Brown of Gibsonville, NC, Joyce Testerman (Jim) of Kingsport, TN, Oakley Ray Hayden, Jr. of Hopewell and Gordon Hayton of Hopewell; her grandchildren, Nicole Carper of Atlanta, GA., Jacob Preston Carper of Atlanta, GA., Brandon Bonnell (Abby) of Marion, Bethany Bonnell of Marion, Braydon Bonnell of Marion and Brooklyn Bonnell of Saltville; her great grandchild Madeline Grace Bonnell of Marion; and her close friends, Shirley Henderson of Saltville, Raymond Cross of Glade Spring, Chip Carper of Atlanta, GA., Sue Brown of Johnson City, TN., Todd Austin and Tasha Poole of Marion. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370).
