He is survived by: his wife Fay Allison; his children, Shane Allison (Erica) and Jennifer Hanel (Joe); his siblings, Fred Allison (Linda), Rick Allison, Gerald "Cotton" Allison (Rosie), Brenda Jackson (Dan) and Lynn Trogdon (Larry); his grandchildren, Danielle Sheets (Zack), Nathan Allison (Virgie), Devin Allison (Haylee), Dylan Allison (Emily), Madison Allison (Lucas), Shaynae Alexius Hickman (Brandon) and Jace Hanel; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Colton, Salem, Raelynn, Olivia, AnnaLeigh, Natalie, Hays, Kinsley and Oakley; and his sisters-in-law, Nioka Frye and Mary Frye. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins and special friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (243 Kent St, Saltville, VA 24370). A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
