He is survived by: his parent Doris Robertson Jefferson; his stepchildren, Jerry Dawson of Hurt and Shelby D. Slaughter (Frank) of Walterboro, SC; his siblings, Darrell Jefferson and Linda Brumfield of Gretna; and his grandchildren, Sabrina Dawson Falls, Jennifer Smart and Jamie Harris. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
