It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woodrow Godwin Jr. (Sanford, Virginia), who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Woodrow Wilson Godwin and Helen Tapman Godwin; his son Woodrow Wilson; his granddaughter Roni Lee Hess; and his sisters, Sonja Lee Evans and Violet White (Dony).
He is survived by : his wife Rosemary Williams Godwin; his daughters, Crystal Ann Godwin of Winchester, VA, Kim Godwin Snyder (Richard, Jr.) of Pocomoke, MD and Hope Lynn Hess (Ron) of Parksley, VA; his grandsons, Ronald Lee Hess, Jr. of Parksley and Richard Jefferson Snyder III of Pocomoke; and his sister Lorraine Culp (Roland) of Pocomoke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
