He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Thomas Laughorn and Gracie King Laughorn; his grandson Lee Laughorn; and his brother Thomas Laughorn. He is survived by : his wife Linda Walker Laughorn; his son Michael D. Laughorn (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Holly Forbes (Ryan) of Rocky Mount, Sarah Laughorn of South Boston, Wade Laughorn of South Boston and Caroline Laughorn of South Boston; his stepgrandson Joseph Long; his great grandchild Sadie Forbes; and his sisters, Ruby L. Newton of Halifax and Faye L. Eanes of South Boston.
