She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Farish and Rose Farish; her husband Guy Maupin; and her brother William Farish. She is survived by : her daughter Michele Maupin Lester (John); her stepsons, Guy "Mitchell" Maupin, Jr. (Kimberly) and James Maupin (Jessica); her sisters, Lisa Farish and Darlene Dunnivan; her grandchildren, Abigail, Junior, Ellexis, Cami, Zoe, Zander and Morgan; and her niece Brandi Washburn (Jason).

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home (650 Valley St, Scottsville, VA 24590).
