She was predeceased by: her father Harold Dennis Allen; her brothers, Butch Allen, Dale Allen and Ronnie Allen; and her brother-in-law Don Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Allen Bryant of Scottsville, VA; her children, Mellisa Fretwell (Steve) of Crimora, VA, Donna Turner (Randy) of Greenville, VA and Robert Jones (Kerri) of Milam, WV; her sister Sue Taylor of Stuarts Draft, VA; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Hensley (Ian), Ashley, Steven Fretwell, Garland Branch (Heather), Adrienne Underwood (Eric), Kristen Jamerson (Kevin), Timothy Jones (Ashley), Sierra (Jason), Shelby (Charles) and Tyler Jones. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McDow Funeral Home and Crematory (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary United Methodist Church (2179 Stuarts Draft Hwy, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477).
