He was predeceased by : his parents, David "Pete" Wilhelm and Alice Creasy; and his siblings, Rodney Wilhelm, Betty Jean Wilhelm and Linda Diane Wilhelm.

He is survived by : his daughters, Tammy Lusk and Christi Wilhelm (Larry Smith); his brother Stevie Welcher; and his grandchildren, Allyessa Adams, Catlyn Wilhelm, Ethan Wilhelm and Ciarah Combs. He is also survived by five nephews; one niece; and other extended family.
