She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Lowder and Esther Bentley Lowder; and her son Donald E. Collins. She is survived by : her children, Curtis Collins (Stacia) of Shenandoah, VA, Linda Sue Collins of Wheelersburg and Thomas Collins of Columbus, Ohio; and her sister Eloise Salyer of Portsmouth, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for the upkeep of the Granny Thomas Cemetery.
